The HOT3 model works for kilns with a maximum length of 3 m and a total inner volume of 3.5 m3. Using 2000 W of power this wood drying kiln only needs about 100 - 150 kWh for each cubic metre of wood. The larger model HOT5 has a power rating of 4000 W and can be built up to 12.5 m3 inner volume. The Sauno Wood Dryer comes including the kiln building manual. Depending on your requirements you can build the kiln either indoors or outdoors in your preferred size.
